قيادة القطاع الشرقي في اليونيفيل تنظم دورة تدريبية مشتركة مع الجيش اللبناني حول الإسعافات الأولية والأعراض الناتجة عن الحوادث والأزمات الصحية في مقر القيادة في مرجعيون

نظمت قيادة القطاع الشرقي في اليونيفيل دورة تدريبية مشتركة مع الجيش اللبناني حول الإسعافات الأولية والأعراض الناتجة عن الحوادث والأزمات الصحية في مقر قيادتها في مرجعيون ولمدة خمسة أيام ، وذلك في إطار النشاطات التي تقوم بها اليونيفيل بالتعاون مع الجيش اللبناني في سياق تعزيز العلاقات بين الطرفين.

يعتبر الجيش اللبناني شريك إستراتيجي لقوات اليونيفيل بحيث ساهمت هذه الشراكة في المحافظة على الأمن والإستقرار في المنطقة. والنشاطات التي تقوم بها اليونيفيل تنسّق مسبقاً مع الجيش اللبناني بهدف التعاون. ولقد شارك في الدورة 25 عنصراً من اليونيفيل(الكتيبة الهندية والكتيبة الأندونيسية والكتيبة النيبالية والكتيبة الإسبانية) والجيش اللبناني ، وتخللت دروس نظرية ونشاطات تطبيقية حول الإسعافات الأولية والأعراض الناتجة عن الحوادث والأزمات الصحية، كالإنعاش والحروق والغرق ولدغات الأفاعي بالإضافة إلى محاضرات تتعلق بالنظافة ، وقد أعطيت هذه الدروس من

أختتمت الدورة في مقر قيادة القطاع الشرقي في اليونيفيل في قاعدة ميغيل دي ثيرفانتيس في مرجعيون. وقد حضر حفل الإختتام كل من رئيس الأركان في قيادة القطاع الشرقي العقيد دفيد كوتورويلو سانشيز وقائد الكتيبة 71 في الجيش اللبناني العقيد جوزيف نهرا وبعض الضباط الكبار من قيادة القطاع الشرقي في اليونيفيل والجيش اللبناني. وخلال كلمته أشاد العقيد كورتورويلو بنجاح الدورة وأهميتها بالنسبة للعسكريين. وقد شكر جميع المشاركين وهنأهم على متابعتهم الدورة بنجاح تام ، مشيراً إلى أنها ستساهم في تقوية أواصر العلاقة الطيبة ورفع مستوى التنسيق بين اليونيفيل والجيش اللبناني.

المشاركون في الدورة اكدوا أنهم اكتسبوا معلومات وتقنيات بغاية الأهمية, وبعد الكلمات التي ألقيت من قبل رئيس الأركان وقائد الكتيبة 71 في الجيش اللبناني وضباط من اليونيفيل جرى تسليم شهادات إتمام الدورة للجنود المشاركين.

UNIFIL SECEAST SHARE FIRST AID & TRAUMA CARE JOINT TRAINING WITH LEBANESE ARMED FORCES AT MARJAYOUN’S BASE

1. UNIFIL’s Sector East (SECEAST) has organized a joint training related with First Aid and Trauma at UN Position in Marjayoun for five days. It is framed among the different activities that UNIFIL units are developing with the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) in order to foster mutual confidence and improve the level of understanding.

2. The Lebanese army is the strategic partner of UNIFIL and this partnership has contributed to stabilising the situation on the ground. UNIFIL’s activities are carried out in close cooperation and coordination with the Lebanese Army. This joint training was attended by 25 Lebanese and UNIFIL soldiers. It was focused on different theoretical and practical aspects on the basics of First Aid and Trauma casualty care based on professional skills and varied experience of the trainers. Indian, Indonesian, Nepalese and Spanish SECEAST peacekeepers beside Lebanese soldiers too covered a wide number of other theoretical and practical aspects of first aid such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), burning procedure, handling head injury and drowning, snake bite procedures and general classes on hygiene and sanitation.

3. A closing ceremony was organized today at UN Position Base Miguel de Cervantes in Marjayoun. The ceremony was attended by Chief of Staff of SECEAST Colonel David Cottoruelo Sanchez and Commanding Officer 71st Battalion LAF Colonel Joseph Nahra along with all the participants from UNIFIL SECTOR EAST and LAF personals. Colonel Cotorruelo in his speech said that this course is very useful for provide first aid as the lifesaving step for soldiers in operations. He congratulated all the participants for successful completion of training and added that this training will build stronger relationships and better coordination between LAF and UNIFIL.

4. According to personals attending, the training has provided them a good platform to revise first aid knowledge, and it is a basic must training for soldiers. After their speeches Chief of Staff and Commanding Officer 71st Battalion LAF with other senior officers of UNIFIL SECEAST and LAF awarded certificates to all participants.
