تسلمت بلدية القنطرة - قضاء مرجعيون معدات رياضية لناديها الرياضي هبة من إسبانيا، في حضور مسؤول العلاقات المدنية في القطاع الشرقي في "اليونفيل" المقدم بيدرو مورو غوارديا، رئيس البلدية عبد الحميد الغازي، مدير النادي الرياضي كامل كركي، ضباط وأفراد من الكتيبة الاسبانية والاندونيسية، إضافة الى السلطات المحلية وأعضاء من المجلس البلدي.

وتحدث الغازي فشكر ل"قوات اليونيفيل عموما والقوات الاسبانية والاندونيسية خصوصا كل ما تقدمه من مساعدات ومشاريع في كل المجالات من أجل تقدم المنطقة وازدهارها".

مورو غوارديا

من جهته، شدد مورو غوارديا على "العلاقة المتينة والصداقة القائمة بين الشعب اللبناني وقوات اليونيفيل، والتزام هذه القوات تجاه سكان منطقة جنوب لبنان".

وشكر ل"بلدية القنطرة وأهاليها دعمهم المستمر وحسن معاملتهم لقوات اليونيفيل منذ بداية انتشارها في هذه الأرض".

وفي الختام، تمت إزاحة الستارة عن لوحة المشروع.

Inauguration in AL Qantara

Today, a project financed by the Kingdom of Spain consisting of the acquisition of sports equipment for the municipal gymnasium of the town has been inaugurated in the town of Al Qantara.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Sector East G9 chief Lieutenant Colonel Pedro Morro Guardia, the mayor of the town Mr. Abed Al Hamid Al Ghazi, the gym director Mr. Kamel Karaki, officers and members of the Indonesian and Spanish contingents, as well as local authorities and members of the municipal council.

In his speech, Mayor Abed Al Hamid Al Ghazi thanked the UNIFIL forces in general and the Spanish and Indonesian forces especially for all that they are offering aid and projects in all areas to achieve progress and prosperity in the zone.

For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Morro Guardia, emphasized the close relationship and friendship between the Lebanese people and the forces of UNIFIL, as highlighted by the commitment of the Spanish contingent and the UNIFIL forces towards the population of southern Lebanon. Finally, he thanked the town hall and the inhabitants of Al Qantara for their continued support and hospitality towards the UNIFIL forces since the beginning of their deployment in this land.

With the discovery of the commemorative plaque and the cutting of the cake, the act was completed.
