أعلنت شركة سامسونج للإلكترونيات بالتعاون IBM عن إطلاق نظام مشترك يعتمد بشكل رئيسي على إمكانات الحوسبة السحابية الخاصة بـIBM وابتكاراتها في مجال الذكاء الاصطناعي، وعروض الهواتف الذكية التي توفرها سامسونج في السوق. ويوفر هذا التعاون للعملاء من المؤسسات، القدرة على الاستفادة من الإمكانات الفائقة التي تتمتع بها شركة IBM إضافة إلى مزايا منظومة منتجات Galaxy الاستثنائية من سامسونج.

يكمن الهدف الأساسي من هذا التعاون في توفير المزايا الاستثناية الناتجة عن الابتكارات السحابية لشركة IBM ومنظومة الأجهزة الذكية من سامسونج، بما في ذلك Galaxy Tabs وهواتف Galaxy الذكية وساعات Galaxy Watches، المصممة خصيصاً لتحسين بيئات العمل للعديد من القطاعات، من بينها أجهزة الشرطة ورجال الإطفاء والمستجيبين الأوائل المختلفين.

وفقا لمنظمة العمل الدولية، تحدث حوالي 3 ملايين حالة وفاة كل عام بسبب الحوادث التي تحصل أثناء أداء بعض المهن. ما يؤكد الحاجة الملحة لدى الحكومات والمؤسسات لبناء أنظمة وتطبيقات لمراقبة العوامل الحيوية الصحية للعاملين في البيئات النائية أو التي تشهد ضغطاً شديداً.

سيتيح النظام الأساسي الجديد، بناء على سحابة IBM، للعملاء القدرة على تتبع العوامل الحيوية للموظفين، بما في ذلك معدل ضربات القلب والنشاط البدني، للتعرف على الوضع الصحي للشخص وتقديم المساعدة تلقائياً عند الحاجة.

على سبيل المثال، ستتم مشاركة البيانات الحيوية الخاصة بالسلامة والعافية للمجيبين الأوائل، المزودين بساعات Galaxy من سامسونج مع أجهزة استشعار حيوية وهواتف Galaxy الذكية المتوافقة مع تقنية الجيل الخامس، على هذا النظام الأساسي في الوقت الفعلي. تتمثل العملية في مراقبة العلامات الحيوية وغيرها من المؤشرات الرئيسية للعمال على نحو مستمر ، وإرسال التنبيهات لمشرفي الحالات الطارئة على الفور، في حال حصول أي تغيير، على مستوى هذه البيانات، يدل على أن العامل يتعرض لخطر الإصابة بنوبة قلبية أو حصول ارتفاع في درجة حرارة جسده أو أي عارض صحي آخر يتطلب العناية الفورية، وبالتالي اتخاذ القرارات المناسبة لمعالجتهم والعناية بصحتهم.

يمكن الآن، بفضل هذا النظام الأساسي الجديد، استخدام أجهزة Galaxy ذات السرعة الفائقة في أي مكان تقريباً. كما يمكن تخصيص هذه الأجهزة لاستخدامها في بيئات العمل ذات الظروف الخاصة، كاستخدامها من قبل الجنود أثناء خدمتهم، أو موظفي محطات توليد الكهرباء الذين يعملون في ظروف جوية قاسية، أو عمال الطوارئ الذين يقدمون خدماتهم خلال الكوارث أو عمال المناجم.

يوفر هذا الحل الجديد، الذي تتم تجربته من قِبل العديد من قوات الشرطة، رؤى توعوية مرتبطة بالظروف الأوضاع الصحية في الوقت الفعلي لدى المستجيبين الأوائل للحد من المخاطر التشغيلية التي يتعرض لها العاملين في هذا المجال.

SDC19: Samsung and IBM Bring 5G and AI-Powered Mobile Solutions on IBM Cloud

for Enterprises

Joint innovations help governments and enterprises improve safety for first responders, on factory floors and for manufacturing plant workers

SAN JOSE, U.S. – October 29, 2019 – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. and IBM announced today at the Samsung Developer Conference, a new joint platform leveraging IBM Cloud and AI capabilities, and Samsung’s mobile offerings. The collaboration between the two companies brings together IBM’s capabilities with the Samsung Galaxy ecosystem for today's enterprise customers.

Safety Platform Powered by IBM Cloud, AI and 5G

Today’s announcement is designed to bring together IBM’s cloud innovations and Samsung’s Galaxy devices ecosystems, including Galaxy Tabs, Galaxy smartphones, and Galaxy Watches. This is designed to help improve the work environments for police officers, fire fighters and other first responders.

According to the International Labour Organization, nearly 3-million deaths occur each year due to occupational accidents. Governments and enterprises have an increasing need to build systems which track the health vitals of workers in remote or high-stress environments.

Built on the IBM Cloud, the new platform will now allow clients to track a worker’s vitals, including heart rate and physical activity, to determine if that person is in distress and automatically dispatch help.

For example, equipped with Samsung’s Galaxy Watches with biometric sensors and Galaxy smartphones enabled with 5G capability, first responders will have their safety and wellness indicators shared on this platform in real time. The solution constantly tracks their vital signs and other key indicators to instantly alert emergency managers if there is a change in any of these data points, which may indicate the responder may be in danger of a heart attack, heat exhaustion, or any other life-threatening event requiring immediate attention. The platform transmits the data to emergency managers to provide insights for their decision-making.

On this new platform, Samsung’s high-speed Galaxy devices can now be used at scale almost anywhere. These devices can be customized to withstand intense environments, such as those encountered by a soldier in the field, power plant employees working in harsh weather conditions, an emergency worker responding to a disaster or a worker in a mining plant.

Currently being piloted by multiple police forces, this new solution provides real time health and situational awareness insights on first responders to reduce operational risks in the field.
