حققت فرقة حفظ السلام من الكتيبة النيبالية نجاحا في تنفيذ اقامة مخيم صيفي مفعم بالحيوية كجزء من برنامج التبادل الثقافي لطلاب ثانوية السيد محسن الأمين الرسمية في بلدية شقرا. تضمن المخيم ، الذي أقيم في 7 حزيران 2023 ، مجموعة من العروض الثقافية، الموسيقى، الرقص، الفنون القتالية ومهارات الدفاع عن النفس ، مما ترك تأثيرًا في نفوس المشاركين.

Nepali Battalion organizes cultural summer camp for High School Students in Shaqra.

The Nepali peacekeeping contingent, successfully conducted a vibrant summer camp as part of its cultural exchanges program for the students of Al-Sayed Mohsen Al-Amin Official High School in Shaqra municipality. The camp, held on June 7, 2023, showcased an array of cultural performances, music, dance, martial arts, and self-defense skills, leaving a lasting impact on the participants.

The battalion mesmerized the audience with captivating cultural songs and dances, accompanied by live music played on traditional Nepali musical instruments. The enthralling performances by the Nepali peacekeepers were complemented by the Sector East CIMIC Unit, who also graced the summer camp with their melodious voices. The event witnessed the fusion of diverse cultural elements, creating an atmosphere of unity and harmony.

In addition to the cultural extravaganza, the summer camp offered exciting Taekwondo drills, captivating the attention of the school students. Peacekeeper LCPL Janaki Tamang, a member of the Nepali Contingent, further enthralled the audience by showcasing her exceptional "UNARMED SELF-DEFENSE SKILLS." The interactive sessions fostered a sense of empowerment and instilled valuable self-defense techniques in the young participants.

The summer camp garnered overwhelming participation, with approximately 350 students and 30 school staff members joining the event. The enthusiasm was palpable as 50 parents also graced the occasion, showing their unwavering support for their children's involvement in the camp.

The esteemed School Director Mr. Hussein Awala conveyed his heartfelt appreciation and gratitude, stating, "Nepali Battalion has remained in the deep of our hearts. Thank you so much for bringing this happiness and joy to the faces of our students. This memory will last for long." His words resonated with the collective sentiment of the attendees, reflecting the positive impact that the battalion and the summer camp had on the students, staff, and parents alike.
